The Bahamas has finally ratified the UNESCO World Heritage Convention, completing the Latin American & Caribbean Region.

If I recall correctly, the only UN members left who haven't ratified are Liechtenstein, Nauru, Somalia, South Sudan, Timor-Leste and Tuvalu.

The houses on Male, the island capital of the Maldives, don't all have addresses. Instead, the houses have names. Some of those I've seen include Blue Jay, Gazelle, Liver Pool, N. Shady Palm, Ma. Green Garden, Echo and New Happiness.

My grandson skyped me last night from Wisconsin. He was rocking out to Maroon 5's "I Get to Move My Jacket". Mondegreen.

Have not listened to that one yet. Maroon 5 songs I find catchy, but besides Payphone I don't feel they have the staying power that my all-time faves do.

Maroon 5 hasn't been that good in over a decade. Their newer songs just aren't the same for me.

They do seem to be degenerating into canned, repetitive pop.

I've never liked them. I think Adam Levine sounds like a parrot.

Friends of mine who watched them live say they are not all they're hyped up to be.

But having watched a few episodes of The Voice, I guess he's really good at packaging himself.
