EMERGENCY!

Thousands of skydivers' parachutes have suddenly failed to open. Superboy, Supergirl, Ultra Boy, Andromeda, Mon-El, Dawnstar, Wildfire, Shikari and all the Legionnaires with super strength and/or speed are off-planet! Which 5 Legionnaires can save these falling bodies?

Nightwind or Sun Boy (depending on boot) creates a powerful thermal updraft to slow the falling skydivers, to buy their teammates time to catch them all.

Cosmic Boy uses his magnetic powers to latch onto everyone's metal buckles and zippers and fastenings to arrest their fall and gently lower them to the ground.

Light Lass / Gossamer slows falling bodies, so that the drift to the ground, light as a feather.

Element Lad turns the ground they are about to land in to water, for a softer landing.

Emergency! Portals to Apokalips have opened on Earth, and armies of parademons are pouring through!

Complication! The portals were misaligned, and they were supposed to be appearing on a different world for a training exercise, but, being parademons, are just as willing to attack Earth, now that they are here anyway!

Pick 5 Legionnaires to set them back on course to some (preferably uninhabited) world!

Saturn Girl - No powers required. She just shows them all the holo of her facing down Darkseid. There's just no way they will mess with her or hers after that.

Chemical Kid - makes the Parademons unbearably happy, at which point they either commit suicide or begin picking flowers.

Well, he didn't die when Glorith aged him in the 5YG and put together an exo-suit for himself. He could probably mass produce those.

Light Lass - enables the others and herself to get around a lot more easily.

Wildfire - Glorith's powers may not make a difference to him.

Cham - because an elderly giant spiky death beast is only mildly less a threat than a young spiky death beast.

Harmonia - hasn't aged in 3000 years, so may be able to shake off Glorith's power more easily.
