It's good to see your photos joeboy. Thanks for sharing. Here's a few more from Aberdeen. This is a photo of Marischal College, the second biggest granite building in the world (no. 1 is in Madrid, I believe). It is part of Aberdeen University, which was founded in 1495, and is Scotlands third oldest university, and Britains fifth oldest. The building was founded in 1593, but the version that we have today was only finished in 1906. It is situated on Broad Street which is a leading contender for the Windiest Street on the Planet. And this is a photo of St. Machars Cathedral. Located on a site which has housed christian churches since 580 AD, the present cathedral was started in the mid 12th century. Both photos were taken on wet / cloudy days, so don’t show them at their best. But then, since most days around here are either wet, cloudy or both …….

Took this yesterday on my way to the CBS. Its the entrance harbour known as "the narrows". The little fortification on the left side in the background is called "Cabot Tower" and is one of the most well known of our local landmarks.

Lovely photos Scott & Ded. Here's a couple more that I promised earlier for Quis. They're of Dunottar castle and a picture of the coastline next to the castle (I just thought that it framed well). I must admit that I know bugger all about the castle except that it lies just south of Stonehaven (where Harbi is from), which is about 15 miles south of Aberdeen. It was used in Mel Gibsons Hamlet, I believe. And one more, just to show how important some folk think they are. In a crap attempt to make Aberdeen more like London, Grampian TV have sponsored the "Grampian Eye". How rubbish is that compared to the London one? Embarrassing, ain't it?

I went to Edniburgh for the day on Tuesday!!! that is a BEAUTIFUL city!!!! I absolutely loved it, definately wish I could've stayed there longer. oh great, I was supposed to do some shopping in Central London, and now on the news they're saying there have been explosions on the Underground, and they've had to close the whole Underground. The police are saying that it has something to do with a power surge.
I might live on the butt end of the world, but I get to see the days before anyone else.... mwaahahahahahaha

Embarrassing, ain't it? For anyone who hasn't seen the London one here's a photo. p.s. they are now officially classing the Grampian Eye as a Tourist Attraction, and not just a crap fairground ride for kids. Sad B*****ds.
