I lived on Gorgie Road in Edinbro for a while, lovely old Victoria flat, high ceilings, beautiful cornices etc, unfortunately I nearly got married to someone who would not have been right for me so it kind of tarnishes the memories. Next time I'm up in Scotland I may pop by again as it's been 15 years. I used to love walking up Arthurs Seat with a cold (or should I say envigorating) wind in my face, what a magical place!

Well, it seems that pictures from Seattle don't have the same effect as pictures from Edinburgh (looking forward to meeting Ultraboi's Boy in a few weeks, btw)...

Okay, these are from my yard - out in the country. In the first few, you can see how the tree got its name ... it's just bursting with red and pink buds. So here's some of the redbud tree.   (The oak tree in the foreground has a funny history ... Dad HATES that tree!!!!)  (THIS ONE is actually from the front porch. Ignore the lantana that needs pruning!!!)  Wes and Shadow  And again, my boy and girl.
