On a show with a black Pete Ross and a dark-haired Lana Lang, we're lucky if this is the biggest change they make!

I know it's AR to want to see characters cast to look the way I'm most familiar with seeing them, but I can't help it!

I've never watched a single episode of Smallville, and I'll probably only watch the upcoming Legion episode, so my first wish would be to see the Legion all Silver Age-y. But if they're different than that standard, I think I'll be just fine.

Unless Garth will be an exotic bird or a little green man or something.... ya never know!

No disrespect to the actor but he's just a baby -- 8 years younger than "Cos" and 4 years younger than "Imra".

Further evidence the messed-up founder dynamics of the Johnsboot Legion is not an accident.

I just saw the Supernatural episode that had this kid on it, and gosh, he's awful young-looking to play LL against the people they cast for CB and SG.

'Smallville' has not yet been listed as a credit to actor Calum Worthy's IMDb profile (as is the case with the other two actors) Could it just be a ploy to throw off the viewers? I also have to agree with the majority on here and say that Calum looks a little too young to play Garth next to the the other actors (heck Tom Welling is WAAAAY older than all of them, and LOOKS older too) plus I thought all four heroes where around the say age when Garth, Rokk and Imra first went to visit Clark in the past?!

Recent photos of Calum Worthy from a chap named Tink, the production designer of the sci-fi TV series "Stormworld", set to debut in 2009. Worthy co-stars.They filmed in Spring-Summer '08, so I doubt he's changed much since then.

The Legion's first and maybe only ever live-action appearance should have featured an *iconic* version of the Legion, with three founders of roughly the same age and status, but it looks they're going for the early reboot Legion with a gangly, adolescent Garth playing third wheel to the more mature Rokk and Imra.

If Johns wants to write the reboot Legion, why didn't he just go ahead and do it without the pretense?

WHY ARE YOUR SCREEN CAPS SO MUCH BETTER!!

VERY exciting to see that in the trailer (though if you blinked, you missed it! My kids caught it, I rewound the recording, watched it again, STILL missed it, and only barely saw it the 3rd time before finally getting a good look frame-by-frame.)

Too bad it's not being aired until January, not only because of the agonizing wait, but also because this means it will just miss being aired during the year of the 50th anniversary (though I guess you can still count the trailer as the first "live action TV appearance" of the Legion ...and I hope nobody brings up that cheesy live-action Mordru thing from the 70s...besides, he's not actually a Legionnaire anyway).

One other thing: Note in the trailer they said "new heroes" before "new enemies"...the point being, this sounds like we might be seeing the LSH (or at least the Persuader) for more than one episode?

Anyone know if that's possible?

Ok so the founders look pretty good together, hope they "talk the talk" as well as they look the part. Even Persuader looks good (not cheesy). Hey I wonder how Brainiac ties into the Fatal Five. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I for one am willing to wait until Jan/09 as I'm sure this will be one of Smallville's greatest episode, and fan favorite (on par with my personal fav Justice League episode from season 6.

"Rokk" looks pretty cool. "Imra" looks like a space-tart. Garth looks like an 11th grader in a varsity jacket.

I agree, Garth looks a little young next to the other two... but Imra a space tart? Nope, sorry she looks pretty and a perfect fit for the role. I like make up and well kept hair on a girl. Girls who actually look like girls for me, all the way!!!
