Woo hoo! Tonight! Right after the Super Bowl!

All your favorites from the past seven seasons, including four previous winners!

Is anyone as excited about this as I am? Scott? Icey?

I'm all ready to go. Rooting for Rupert already. Who else thinks, if he goes to council, that Richard Hatch will be the first voted off?

Plus, did you know that its 3 teams this time around? How do you suppose they determine who goes to council after a competition? The winner chooses which of the losing teams goes?

I'd heard a rumor that, for the first couple of episodes, TWO tribes go to tribal council and BOTH vote off a member. This might explain how they start off with two extra people, yet have the same number of episodes in the season (I think).

I also heard that Rupert is really kind of an a$$hole in real life -- that they edited him much more favorably in Pearl Islands than he really is.

Hatch spends a lot of time naked (again), apparently -- including the first challenge.

My favorites at the moment are Kathy and Shii Ann.

I cant wait, i got my survivor pool going on and i got rupert and someone else.
i found rupert to be a little bit pathetic, he was almost childlike. He moaned and groaned after he got voted off that again he tried to be accepted and was rejected again, his talk about "the jocks" that picked on him in school. Time to get over that shit rupert, youre an adult now, youre not a teenager, well maybe he is because of all the teasing he is a teen in a 30 something body.

I'm thinking, since I've become a reality-TV addict in the past year, that I am going to have to make this my first season of SURVIVOR...

Watched it, loved it... kinda reminded of the Real World/Road Rules battles except with more diversity in the ages of the players...

So is this an every-Sunday night show?

Thursday nights before CSI. I love Survivor/CSI Thursdays!

I'm kinda disappointed with Rudy and Rupert right now but I'll wait to see what happens on Thursday.

And for those that missed it, an encore showing of the first episode is schedule for Tuesday night.

Now, someone tell me what happened during Super Bowl half-time that CBS had to issue an apology. I taped the game and just barely finished watching Survivor (watch Work Poker Tour now). So I didn't watch the half-time show, just the game itself.

Janet Jackson was a no-show, so they had to replace her at the last minute with someone else... Michael Jackson. He spent five minutes performing a horrid version of "Debbie Rowe is not my lover," and then quickly fled the stage when his surgical mask started falling off.

wink

Oh, I should say there is some nudity when you go to that link, but it's only a little photo so everyone should be fine. Famous female boob on show basically. Not the Trousersnake' pants falling off unfortunately.

Wow! I actually watched the halftime show, and didn't catch that. I think I must have gone into the kitchen at that point.

What's that weird silvery star thingy she has covering her nipple??? confused

Hmm, hadn't noticed that before. Does kind of look like some kind of nipple cover which makes me even more cynical as to whether it was an accident like they're claiming. I mean, why else would she have a metal starfish latched onto her boob?

Top detective work Bevis! It reeks of being a big old con, no?

Remember Bucks Fizz? (note to US readers: it's an obscure reference to the UK winning the Eurovision Song Conntest in 1982. It involved girls' skirts gettinng ripped off) Well, it looks like that but with boobs!

Still, it's mucho amusing. How desperate is that Janet eh?

There was also a streaker just before the kickoff to the 2nd half that most of us missed.

The MTV website initially had teaser references to "shocking moments" that would occur during the halftime show which have subsequently been taking off the site now that they are denying all culpibility.

I'm very concerned for Rudy. I don't think he should be there at all. He is not all there mentally and this physical strain is going to prove dangerous for him. Something else else has happened to him in the last couple years, perhaps a silent stroke, but I don't think he's as healthy as he was last time he was a competitor.

His spirit is not there either. He was so sharp and fiesty before that this is pathetic.

I was sorry to see Tina go. I liked her. I'm hoping Ethan makes it beyond next week.

Did anyone else wonder if Susan didn't realize there is a big difference between stomach parasites and brain parasites? I don't think she should have drunk the water!

Can't wait to see what happens next!

"Will and Grace" should be called "JACK and KAREN".

Rupert was a favorite last season but I think I'm voting for Colby. He's a Texas boy and CUTE AS HELL. I love his new Quattro razor commercials.

Jenna (from season 1) works my nerves and I can't stand either of he Robs.

My boss told me that she read that Christa, from last season, killed a pelican and they were going to eat it, but the crew stopped them because pelicans are full of parasites.

I can't imagine that the water parasites are life-threatening, otherwise the cameramen would have stopped Susan from drinking the water. But I do think she's a complete idiot and I hope she gets sick as a dog. Hmmm, now if only Richard Hatch would drink some non-boiled water. smile He's such a bastage.

The FCC has just launched an investigation into it claiming that it was no accident. SI.com .

After seeing the picture with the nipple cover I also can't help to think that this was a stunt pulled by MTV on purpose. Maybe they wanted a different Jackson in the spotlight for once.
