Like Set, my list leans towards the Legion ladies

Man. Most of my Top 5 (Kinetix, Gates, Postboot Brainy, Postboot Garth, Postboot Imra and XS) are doing pretty well, but a lot of my Top 12 (Shikari, Kid Q II, Postboot Cham, Postboot Tinya and Umbra) aren't. I'm torn between voting strategically, and just voting for my faves.

Some of these are surprising. Bouncing Boy, Spider-Girl and Blok both were among the top vote-getters in Rounds 1 and 2, and Chuck got 91 points last round.

ROUND FIVE RULES

Let's get down to 40, and then I have something interesting in mind to bring us to our Top 25...

Vote for your Top 15 Legionnaires!

Points will be given as follows:

Rank 1 - 80
2 - 60
3 - 50
4 - 35
5 - 25
6 - 15
7 - 13
8 - 12
9 - 11
10 - 10
11 - 5
12 - 4
13 - 3
14 - 2
15 - 1


Round ends early morning, US Pacific time, November 12, Saturday.

The ranking is purposely skewed to give many more points to the higher ranks because these are usually the most special Legionnaires for a given voter.

We'll eliminate 20 Legionnaires to get down to 40.

House Rules

1) Each round will last about 48 hours, and will end early morning PST.
2) I'll vote at or near the start of every round to eliminate bias on my part.
3) I won't disallow changing of votes. I'll only tally votes at the end of each round (to make it easier on myself!). I'll post on this thread the minute I start tallying to alert everyone; votes that come in after that will be ignored.
4) In case of errors in the results, I'll post a correction immediately. If anyone's vote was affected by the error, and that poster wasn't able to correct the error in time, he or she will get a makeup vote next round - +15 points to give a Legionnaire of their choosing.
5. Ties will be broken by looking at the accumulated votes Legionnaires earned in previous rounds.
6. Voting rules may change every round, so read carefully before posting!
7. Points also reset per round, giving each Legionnaire a clean slate. But every vote is important because accumulated votes from previous rounds are used to break ties. You never know when such a vote can save one of your favorites!

Sneak peek - here are the plans I have in mind for the next few rounds.

Round 6: Top 40 to Top 25

All voters get 500 points to distribute however they wish. Top 15 vote getters advance to the Top 25.

Round 7: Second Chance

Legionnaires eliminated in Rounds 3-6 are eligible.

We have 89 Legionnaires at the start of this round. Voters pick (no ranking) anywhere from 10 to 50 to advance. Top 10 make it to the Top 25.

Round 8: Top 25 to Top 12.

The usual mechanics take place - rank the Legionnaires. Top 12 advance.

Round 9: Final Wild Card

We vote for the 13 Legionnaires we just lost. Each voter must vote YES or NO for each of the 13.

Legionnaires who get a 75% vote (3/4 of voters say YES) advance to the next round, joining the Top 12 in the previous round.

Round 10 to end

Normal voting until we get our Multiverse Legion Idol! We lose 2-3 Legionnaires per round, depending on how many we have after Round 9. Last round takes place when we have our Top 3.

Not sure if I'll do something special for the last round, though. I probably will.
