Hi, I just stopped by. Since I opened SHAKES next door, I was thinking - the Starfield Room would make a great restaurant. The Legion World chef, Saturn Girl, might just be looking for a place to park her spatula. (I hear she's got connections with the powers-that-be and the permit would be no problem). I think we could get the food critic on our side by slipping a little extra chocolat in her martini (at least that's the rumor going around about Fat Cramer). InvisibleKid

We could open up a doorway between the two so that the clientel can visit back and forth as well. There's a nice little crack in that wall over there that I could widen if you like, it's perfectly positioned.

Most excellent. Could you get in touch with Plaster Lad to do the finishing?

No way - the Starfield Room is your baby. What kind of intrusive cad would I be to move into your digs and start redecorating? InvisibleKid

I will need to hire someone to run the lightshow on the dance floor, and a new DJ...

<SIGH>

Saturn Girl, if you see this, would you consider taking on the chef position? (If Scott doesn't mind?)

Hey, just dropped in from next door, through the door Vee made for us. <Notices that Plaster Lad hasn't been by yet to finish it off>

Thanks for the help at SHAKES.

Maybe Icey could run the light show. He has mentionned an interest in the dance floor. Between you and me, I don't think his born-again status will last long, so you'll have to watch that he doesn't book strippers for the entertainment (unless of course, you think that might help business.)

I don't know about strippers, but maybe a fortune teller. I also hear that someone from another time and place may be coming in for the bar maid position...

Have you two figured out who to hire for the DJ position? That's probably going to be the most difficult slot to fill!

No. Maybe we could alternate between Labradorian and Thrifshop Debutante (if either of them would actually agree)...

<walks over from Shakes>

Wow, I hope that the Ranger got the hint. That Winema character gives me the creeps. I just wonder what she is up to?

Maybe I can help somehow?

Damn, wish that barmaid would arrive soon. I hear she has much experience with intrigue...

I don't know. Some of the patrons (most, I think) might like some disco now and then. Labradorian would probably deck them if they asked. He's quite set in his ways, I hear (I could be wrong though. I hear he wears a mood ring.)
