Ferro Lad. I mean Jean had killed all those beings before she killed herself. Ferro Lad's death was more noble and heroic.

Trapper, mainly because I'm a Legion fan. Only thing that makes it close is Avengers Forever. Still only one terrific Kang story (IMO) versus many good TT ones.

Definately John IMO. He just is the strong hero type guy. Guy never really took it too seriously and Kyle was a bit too unsure of himself.

I'd say Darkseid because Thanos is essentially just a guy who wants to get the girl (even if that girl happens to be Death).

JLA! incredible pantheon of A-List heroes! Avengers are just wanna-bes, IMHO.
(I'm also weighing in on your prior Q, Chief - John Stewart all the way!)

A lot of people would argue Kirby, Ditka, Romita and on and on, but my personal favorite is Curt Swan. To me, his stuff just has a timeless, humanistic feel about it that resonates with me.
I also think his depiction of hair is more natural-looking than most. It's a small detail, but I think he and artists like Jim Mooney were ahead of their time in that area.

Wow, this is a tuffy! Perez, Byrne, Miller... so many greats to choose from. I think, for me, it would have to be Neal Adams though. He really captured the essence of that period.

Between the two, Grell is my favorite overall, but neither is really "my" Legion artist, if that makes sense. I really respect what Cockrum did for the Legion, and Grell's LSH stuff is far inferior to his work elsewhere.

I have to vote Cinar here. The reason: when he inks his own pencils his stuff looks amazing! Check out the revamped cover of LSH #7 and you'll see what I mean.

Not to be too uncreative (this being a Legion board and all), but honestly: Mon-El. No matter how they try try to update it, it keeps coming back to that classic design. There is just something in the combination of the jacket that opens, those brass cape discs and that (Tudor?) collar that perfectly captures the honor of this character. It's like Hamlet in Space.
SAPBM,
What is your least favorite element in superhero costuming (not of a specific character, simply costumes in general)?

Lobo can go to Marvel and pal around with Cable and Bishop as the generic, boring, silly over-the-top macho-ish types, if they still exist.
Dr. Strange, possibly Marvel's best character, can come over to DC.

<GASP> Y the Last Man.
but it may be a mixed blessing cause i love it so, and if it's not done well that would suck.
ooo or maybe a Conan series ... if done well. (pseudo super hero though)
or maybe some sort of hellstorm or xanadu mystic mysteries thing (not quite super hero)

opposite question:
what superhero or team would you like to be given an unlimited special effects budget for super power battles on a weekly tv series?

That's an easy one, the Legion! I dare any network to try. SAPBM Which cancelled TV show should make a comeback, either original cast if possible or remake?

too many great shows should remain untouched. I'd have to step down a notch rather than see the true top-tier shows sullied (a MASH remake would be completely pointless, for instance).
for original cast, it could be neat to see a Miami Vice follow-up after all these years. Still too recent for a Jag reuninon, although Magnum, PI could be fun. For both Magnum or MV, the occasional TV movie, a la Columbo, would be better than a regular hour-ep series.
for remake, I'd have to go with Quark, Richard Benjamin's short-lived scifi spoof of 30+ years ago. There's surely a much larger cannon on scifi material to spoof nowadays than just Trek and Star Wars.
