No, I'm not talking about R. J. Brande, but groovy LSV operative Zo-Gar!

Yay! My plan to lure Nighty into posting a page from that story so that I could see what he looked like in color worked!
I've got to say, there's nothing freakier than alien planets where the entire population wears the same outfit.

I can't believe the writer is able to put Zo-Gar's name in 3 panels on one page of a story and the current Legion can't tell us the name of half the reoccurring characters.

Actually, that entire page is basically nothing but exposition of stuff that the average comic reader would just expected to know these days, and yet, even with pages like that, they still manage to tell a complete story in like twelve pages or something, whereas it would be a drawn out five-issue epic these days!

Is it a real mustache, or is he just using his powers?

Hell, A durlan could have eyeball or even (dare I say it?)... palm hair if he wanted.
And by the way, those Durlans have their own antennae why didn't they just use theirs instead of those giant ski poles? Are theirs inadequate?
Do Durlans with tiny antennae drive sports cars?
Okay, I'll stop.
Is that a moon?

Well aren't Durlans orange attenae look suppossed to be a more humanoid look they have to adopt so other races know them? That mustache is pretty funny. What's his name? Zo-Gar?

Have Durlans generally been depicted with eyebrows?
Barry depicts Cham without, as I recall, but is that something distinctive of the threeboot version?

Maybe a temporary spinoff group, due to an internal fued? Interestingly, the originaly "Legion of Super-Outlaws" were the Heroes of Lallor.

Maybe because Outlaws and slightly less evil than Villains this is a sub-branch featuring members who were, at one point, good.
Mekt is heroic during the 5YG, Cosmic King is really only evil because the people of his world told him he was and the Heroes of Lallor were heroes before coming evil.
So perhaps it is a crime on Durla to have Facial Hair but upto that point he worked with wounded animals and small children.

I can't help but feel that Zo-Gar is actually one of those relunctant criminals--like a space-pirate or jaded illegal saloon owner--that is actually quite noble underneath it all.
That moustache is so Errol Flynn that undoubtedly, Zo-Gar is a Durlan other Durlans find highly desirable. His cynical worldview and willingness to break social norms and engage in criminal acts only makes it more so.
In fact, I demand a Zo-Gar mini-series that also features Ultra Boy, Gim & Yera in which we learn Marte Allon once loved him as well! An interesting twist on the Gim/Yera romance!

Hmm... maybe the LSV tricked Zo-Gar into joining by pretending to be fellow roguish outlaws rather than genuine villains, thus explaining the name!

That bit where Star Boy slugs Cham is so much more meaningful in the whole no-shave envy context. Thanks, LMB!

Oh I remember this, that was a funny conversation. It was very funny to see a Reep-Nura hybrid with a mustache.
