I would say that my character mostly appeared in comics featuring the associated hero, if not necessarily (though sometimes) with that hero's name in the book's title.

My character was originally published by DC. (Generally, that's true of characters based on Earth-1, but there are some exceptions - the Blackhawks and Plastic Man, for example, were portrayed as living on Earth-1 before the Crisis and were originally published by Quality.)
