I done made a new Legion-inspired shirt....I am pretty happy with this one! It looks classy as a shirt which depicts the final resting place of such luminaries as Braino and Hate-Face should... Exnihil- I enjoy the story you are writing. You are writing Emily correctly. I also like that you are writing a normal crime story. I haven't seen many of those that take place outside of Charltonburg.
Speaking of which, you should check out the new thread I posted. It will inevitably end up touching upon the drug cartels that are centered around Charltonburg, and of course the dread lord Tyrian.

Cool, Em... so glad you're digging it (and welcome back, again)! I really enjoyed the relationship dynamic that we established between our two characters in that Halloween story last year - the sort of grudgingly affectionate friendship between the "full of himself" Ex and the serious Emily, who is the only one who calls him out on his B.S. I thought it worked so well that when it came time to write in a "Gal Friday" in "The Long Klordny," there wasn't anyone else I even thought of. Your "Love Potion" story sounds really cool, as well. I'm probably going to have my hands full with my thing for a little bit, but I'll be eagerly watching to see what you come up with.

The last bit of the same sentence I left out doesn't help either: Originally posted by Exnihil: I'm probably going to have my hands full with my thing for a little bit, but I'll be eagerly watching to see what you come up with.

I'm going to begin writing soon. However, I want to know more about the LMB's ethical views. I'm going to be using one or two minor characters with mental powers. One of them is the above-mentioned Tyrian, who uses mind control pheromones. Would it be even feasible to try him in court? If victims did horrible things under his control, could they be held accountable?
The other question I have is, what is the LMB's view of erasing/lobotomizing the minds of super-villains?

Thanks, my other problem is that I don't know if I should use other people's characters without their permission. I want to start writing, but don't want it to only be about my own characters (I could of simply created my own comic book universe for that, I post here for social reasons).

I recommend a quick PM to ask someone's permission if it's something more than a cameo.

Some drawings I done drew: I was a big fan of Ayla's 80's Lightning Lass costume and the Spark costume, and really NOT a fan of the vest and panties look she has at the moment. I get that it's a homage to her Light Lass days, but it seriously looks like she's half-dressed. Shadow Lad (who ironically IS half-dressed) is about to take on a much more meaningful role in my series, so I thought I would draw a picture of him. Also, Grev is dreamy <3

Love your Ayla. Very pixie-ish. Given how many superhero costumes (male and female) are just painted-over-skin, I don't get the need to have so much actual exposed skin. Black Widow, in the old days , for instance, always managed to look super-sexy, even when wearing a full leotard, with nothing but her face (and sometimes hands) exposed. The Grev is a bit thick, I think. Wasn't he generally a bit more slender, or do you consider that to have been a function of how he was meant to be even younger than the kind-teenage-ish Legionnaires?

I think Ayla came out super cute, so thanks! I umm..may have taken a few liberties with Grev, hahaha....you're right in that he's generally been slimmer when he's appeared before, but I figure there's no reason he can't build himself up a bit....and if he just so happens to turn into a huge blue slab of beefcake, well them's the breaks.. I have actually been playing with the idea of giving him a bunch of tribal tattoos the past couple of days as well....I kind of like the idea of his tattoos blending into shadow the same way Tasmia's hair and cape do

I Freaking Love It! You are a Genius!
And Ibby, I love the way you're managing to work every last LMBer into the story in Oval. Great Job!

Thank you, Abin It's a lot of fun having everyone show up. I'm pretty sure we have a lot more out there, though. PS - I'd still love to see you come back and write the Battle of Legion World
