So there's, like, 25 inhabitable planets orbiting Vega, each with a different race, right?
Is there a definitive list of the twenty-five races? I was just searching the internet but couldn't find anything other than lists of a few of the races.

You know, I was thinking about giving you a close to informative response Eryk, but I realize that I'm not even close to an authority on this topic. Now I'm interested too!
Not only that, but besides Omega Men and Titans, what other comics have really touched on the Vega-aspect of the DCU? I have to say I can't think of any others off-hand.

I'm interested too. I know there's a map of all planets in Vega (a couple have been destroyed though), but if I remember correctly, it's been suggested in the old Omega Men series and other comics that there are more than 25 races native or even migrated to the Vega system.

OK, I was sick of working and needed a procastinatory project. This looked perfect. So behold a list of the 22 Vegan planets (Omega Men # 33, 1985)
1. Citadel Homeworld 2. Culacao 3. Karna (Tigorr and Felicity's homeworld, also home of the Gordanians) 4. Hnyxx 5. New Alliance (formerly the Prison Planet) 6. Sindromeda (hell, essentially) 7. Emana Branx (Nimbus' home planet) 8. Tamaran (Ryand'r's and Starfire's home planet, now destroyed as far as I know) 9. Rashashoon (the bordello world of Mama Madame) 10. unnamed 11. unnamed 12. unnamed 13. Okaara (home of Starfire's trainers) 14. Voorl 15. unnamed 16. Euphorix (home of Primus and Kalista) 17. Slagg (Shlagen's homeworld) 18. Rogue (Elu's homeworld) 19. Dredfahl 20. Aello (home of Harpis, Demonia and Doc) 21. Ogyptu 22. Changralyn (Broot's homeworld)
The Psion homeworld, Refuge/Kuraq, Uxor (the Green Man's home planet), Wombworld and the Spider control nests are beyond the Vegan System. Rogue has a really excentric orbit around Vega
I'm sure we can work a bit based on this. I'll add stuff as I find out about it. Man, I used to be a huge fan of the Omega Men.

Thanks, Doc! That's exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for!
Wish I could help flesh it out more, but I know zilch about the subject!
So what exactly are the planets beyond the system? Do they orbit Vega, or something else?

Harpis and Demonia are from Aello, Primus is from Euphorix. I'll try to find and scan the Vega system map if you want, EDE,that shows the orbits etc.

This is hella-kewl! Thanks Doc! And thanks Dain and Nighty if you can scan the map!
Jillikers, I also lack quite a bit of knowledge on this portion of the DCU. So when exactly did the Spider-Guild take it over?

The Vegan worlds, like Tamaran, Thanagar, Rann, Atlantis, Themiscrya, etc. is one of those things I'd like to have seen more of in the 30th century.
Legacies are cool, if done well.

Here's the Vegan system map, from Who's Who #25, Mar.1987 I'd love to see the 31st Century Vega system too. I think I've seen a Tamaranian or two in crowd scenes, and Rann is/was a member of the UP. Nightcrawler, if you have other maps or more info, please post them. I used to GM a DC rpg campaign set in the Vega system years ago. The players still remember my "Mama Madame"!

It should be noted that of the original 25 planets, 3 were destroyed bt X'hal prior to OMEGA MEN # 1.

And what might have happened once the Spider Guild exhausted Vega's resources? Find out HERE!
