Hi
I 'm new here , so I thought I would introduce myself.My real name is Brian but I answer to witchboy just fine .
I read lots of other comics , JLA , Supergirl , Wonder Woman , all the Superman and Batman books , all the X-Men and Avengers books , Fantastic Four , Runaways ... Comics are my drug .
I started reading LoS as a kid , off and on . Lost track of the title for some reason pre 5 year gap . The post Zero Hour reboot got me back involved and I 've never left since. I have a real fondness for the original LoS , and I also love the reboot ( the Archie Legion was so cute ! ) but I haven't been all that crazy about the Threeboot , even though I faithfully read the title anyways .I 'm excited about the original Legion ( or a close fascimile ) showing up in the DCU and hope they get their own title .
I recently read the Showcase LoS collection and now I 'm dying to read more classic LoS but don't have the money for all the deluxe Archives HCs . Argh ! I did pick up a few 5 year gap issues at a local store and that's inspired me to focus my current back issue search on the 5 year gap .
It's hard to name a favorite , I love so many of the characters . I love Saturn Girl and Phantom Girl ( give me an old school diva anyday ! ) and my favorite guys are Lightning Lad and Ultra Boy . But there are tons that are my "second favorites " , Ayla , Vi, Jan , Cosmic Boy (especially in his Disco uniform !) Brainy , Triplicate Girl/Duo Damsel...
Anyways , thanks for letting me join this fabulous place and I look forward to joining in the fun and getting to know my fellow fans .

Hi Witchboy! Welcome to the legionverse.
It would be great if DC would put out some more Legion Showcase volumes. Maybe for the 50th anniversary? We have a lot of fun with the old stories.
