I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS THREAD IS NOW FOR THE JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL OF THE DCNU... BUT IT IS!
And, having just read issues 7-9, this gets my vote as MOST IMPROVED from issue 6 to 7!
An explosion rocks the team --killing one member and putting THREE OTHERS in the hospital... I was totally trippin'!!
And next lots of other heroes make the scene as the JLI goes after the bad guys who did this!
It was a bit of a thrillride! I am a bit pissed that issue 9 conttinues into FIRESTORM, a book I found absolutely TERRIBLE and shan't be purchasing again, but other than that-- good stuff.

I just read issue 10-11 and have witnessed possibly the most glaring error I have EVER SEEN IN ALMOST 4 DECADES OF READING COMICS.
Batman is captured and defeated in issue 10 by The Burners and is even shown in the last panel being held up alongside Booster Gold as the villains gloat.
In issue 11... HE IS NOT SEEN ONCE. NADA. NOWHERE TO BE FOUND and NO explanation given.
I don't even give a rip about Batman, but this kind of error is INEXCUSABLE. If the damn book wasn't ending shortly I'd just drop it in flat-out disgust.

Yeah, that beats it all right. At least forgetting a major character has some precedent. The Worm Ouroboros by E.R.R. Edison actually lost track of the story's narrator by the time the book ended.
-------------------- First comic books ever bought: A DC four-for-47-cents grab bag that included Adventure #331. Been addicted ever since.

Not SO much ... I liked it when they were just funny enough to seem realistic ... but what bothers me more is HOW DARK the treatment these characters get ... as if they're disposable.
grr!

Well, so much for "MOST IMPROVED."
