Maybe XXM will become a title for the old New Mutants and other 'lost' X-characters that we never see? So far, it has Magma, Lila Cheney, Empath, Sunspot and Cannonball as big members of the cast. I don't really see them moving to Uncanny anytime soon, so maybe this is where they'll be. A New Mutants/X-Force type title with the old characters (although definately different from both of those concepts, like no school, no Liefield).
I guess Dani, Karma and Wolvesbane will stay on New Mutants, not that I'm complaining mind you, I think that's one of Marvel's best books right now!

Oh yeah. Bummer if that happens. I was kind of hoping if he did an X-Force story, it would involve Cable, Domino, Deadpool, Shatterstar and the characters that are definatively "Liefield-esque". Then we could have a title with Cannonball, Sunspot, Magma, Lila, etc. Wishful thinking, I know.

In a somewhat related tangent, did anyone else catch the kiss between Gambit and Storm? What the hell was that all about? Sometimes Claremont can get soooo weird...

Hopefully its a "get Gamb**it the hell away from Rogue..." [I'd prefer "and stick him in limbo," too, but I'd settle for away from Rogue...]
