Issue six is out but I won't get my copy for another couple of weeks. Anyone pick it up yet? Is this supposed to be our Legion issue?

It's not a Legion ish, but it does feature some heroes from the future. No spoilers from me, but this was the best issue yet. Morrison remains my favorite writer out there right now.

It is a Superboy/Young Superman issue. It also contained elements of the DC One Million Superman. I enjoyed it very much.

I guess I wasn't clear. I know the Legion doesn't make an appearance as such but was this intended to be Morrison's idea of the Legion? Did we get shortchanged?

I don't think anyone would think "Legion" from this issue. There is a Click Here For A Spoiler"Supermen descendants who fix problems with time" Squad

Click Here For A SpoilerMostly it was a "Superman getting a chance to say goodbye to Jonathon Kent before he dies" issue. With time travel and a few Superman descendants to add to the story.
It was a homage to every other non-Legion Silver Age Superman tale. I highly doubt that this is the Legion All Star Superman story.

That makes me feel better. All I was hearing was it was three teens from the future, chasing a villain and giving Kent an insight to his life as Superman. Sort of sounds like the New Kids in Town episode of the animated Superman.

All-Star Superman #6. Perhaps the best Superman story I've ever read. Definately one of the best comic books I read in years. I admit it: I teared up.
It's official: Morrison is probably my favorite comic book writer (Darwyn Cooke is in a category of his own). This issue was so good that I'll probably reread it many, many times in the future.
I'm proud to be a Superman fan right now.

Jillikers! I can't wait to pick this up!
You know... I'm almost to the point of no longer reading any superhero comics other than All-Star Superman and The Spirit, as everything else just pales in comparison to these two!
