So, everyone complaining about Civil War, INfinite Crisis and too much darkness in your comics - why are you not buying this? Every issue is standalone, and it's just been made an ongoing (the first series nominally ends with #8, due in a couple of weeks, but there's a Special next month and the ongoing starts up the month after).

S'Great.

In my case, it got entirely lost in the deluge of X-books and Civil War nonsense. But now that you mention it... [Smile] it does look pretty good. An All-Star X-Men?

I think I preferred the Hidden Years, but First Class is okay. My favorite part of First Class is the first page, with various doodles / rambling from the cast-members.

It's in a strange place. The writers seem to be avoiding going for the funny, like a She-Hulk or GLA book, and yet they are avoiding the serious as well. It's missing the lighthearted, but serious tone of a New Mutants / Mojoverse / Asgardian adventure as well. I'm still trying to figure it out, I've been pulling it simply because I hate going weeks without anything to read, and my pull-list got Decimated by Civil War, leaving me shopping around for new titles.
