You've all seen my ever-growing list of Brave and the Bold ideas, well, I came up with an idea for a game.

Basically, I start off with an idea for a Brave and the Bold team-up, and the next person supplies a summary for a story about said team-up, and then they post the next team-up. I'll begin.

Batman & Jamm

Posted by Blacula on :

While piloting a space ship to Oa to aid the GLC Batman passes through the Gorilla Nebula and goes crazy. Jamm arrives and tries to sass-talk some sense into him. Batman kills Jamm.

---

Batman and Crimson Fox.

Posted by Cobalt Kid on :

Batman arrives back on Earth in France just in time for a legendary thief to steal the Mona Lisa. Still a little space-crazy, Batman enlists the aid of the Crimson Fox to help him and they are able to regain the Mona Lisa and then make sweet, sweet love on the Museum Floor.

Batman & The Creeper

Posted by Vee on :

Somehow, The Joker has managed to duplicate himself and now there are TWO Clown Princes of Crime terrorizing Gotham. So what's a Batman to do? Call on the only hero (?) in the DCU crazier than the Joker for help! Enter the Creeper and the Twin Terrors are soon back in Arkham!

Batman & Owlman

Posted by Blacula on :

Deciding to travel around Europe for a bit Batman stops off in Amsterdam and after eating one cookie too many at their famous cafes only the Creeper can save him from the deadly Munchy-Munchies in the LSD-verse in which he is trapped.

---

Batman & Aquagirl (Tula)

Posted by Blacula on :

^ Whoops. Sorry Vee.

After thanking the Creeper for his assist with the Munchy-Munchies in Amsterdam and the Joker in Gotham Batman returns to Wayne Manor only to discover that Owlman has moved in and redecorated the place. Only an appearance by special-guest star the Mad Mod can help Batman get the carpets to match the drapes again!

Batman & Aquagirl (Tula)

Sarc... Question about rules... does every team-up have to be half Batman?

Posted by Cobalt Kid on :

Sounds like no Lash, but I'll let SK confirm...

Posted by Sarcasm Kid on :

No, of course not. It can be anyone (in DC).

That includes Vertigo, Wildstorm, Impact, Minx, Milestone, Paradox, Piranha, Elseworlds, Zuda...

Batman encounters a lone woman fighting off a gang of smugglers on the docks, and after helping her send them packing, discovers that Aquagirl has tracked them to Gotham. They have captured a kraken, which Killer Croc has paid them to bring him, so that he can use it’s DNA to stabilize his own out-of-control mutation. He’s grown to enormous size, and lurks in the harbor, and Tula and Batman must work together to take him down! The escape of the pain-maddened kraken, once it’s sedatives wear off, only complicates their mission…

Next team-up;
Aquagirl (Tula) and Kole (Teen Titans)

(While not a rule, I decided to use one of the characters from the previous team-up...)

Though not limiting the game to just Batman & ... obviously opens it up to a lot of more interesting variations I think the game would be more fun and interesting if one character from the previous team-up at least followed on into the next one i.e. Batman & Aquagirl - Aquagirl & Deadman - Deadman & Sgt Rock - Sgt Rock & Batman - Batman & Dumb Bunny - Dumb Bunny & Lobo - and so on.....

Watching the stories unfold with a sense of continuity will be a lot more interesting than just random team-ups IMO.

Deciding that killing most of DC's characters off once wasn't enough, Dan Didio decides to kill them all... AGAIN! You won't believe who wins when a mad Spectre rampages through Heaven and only Kole and Tula can stop him in 'Titan By Name. Titan By Nature.'

--- Aquagirl (Tula) and Thomas & Martha Wayne

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

After last issue, Tula and Thomas & Martha Wayne find themselves alive once more, but not on Earth, and not in the present! They're stuck on the planet that will one day be known as "Bismoll" in the ancient past! Can they find a way to survive on a planet where all lifeforms are poisonous, and all the water is undrinkable?

Next: The Waynes and the Composite Superman

Posted by Blacula on :

Returning to Earth after eating Aquagirl, Thomas and Martha Wayne are saddened when Batman rejects them because of their cannabilistic nature. Fortunately for them, they find a surrogate son in the Batman side of the Composite Superman. Unfortunately for the Superman side, it takes all of his wits to avoid being their next meal!

Composite Superman & Joe Chill

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

Tired of dodging the Waynes' plots to get him on the dinner table, the Composite Superman hires Joe Chill to take them out, figuring that if he did it once, he can do it again! Unfortunately, Joe isn't really quite the master assassin the CS thinks he is, leading to some madcap situations as he bumbles his way through the job!

Next: Joe Chill and that dude who killed the Batman of Earth-2 (I don't think he had a name?)

Posted by Mattropolis on :

Joe Chill essentially created Batman by killing his parents (who are now dead again, the timeline restored), Bill Jensen killed Batman of Earth-2. In a story that can only be called

"The Alpha and the Omega" - the two of them are brought together by a mysterious panel that effectively puts them on trial. The must use their legal expertise and newfound bond to get each other off the hook for their supposed crimes.

Next: Batwoman and Flamebird!

Posted by Blacula on :

At the trial of Joe Chill and Bill Jensen, who is the surprise witness for the defence? None other than Batwoman! But why is the famed Gotham crime-fighter trying to keep these killers out of jail? And what role does the Spear of Destiny play in all this? Flamebird is determined to get to the bottom of the case before her aunt/cousin does something they'll all regret. But what about her Wimbledon tennis final against Martina Navratilova? Find out in 'Game. Set. Love.'

Next - Flamebird & Per Degaton

Posted by Sarcasm Kid on :

Flamebird freaks out when she keeps flashing between Flamebird, Bat-Girl, and Batwoman, so she has to recruit a lobotimized Per Degaton from Belle Reve to go back and time to figure out what's going on.

Per Degaton and 'Mazing Man

Posted by Blacula on :

While journeying back from the past, Per Degaton is shocked to learn when he passes through 1985 that a character named 'Mazing Man actually had his own comic at the time.

Thinking that someone as obscure as 'Mazing Man could be his surprise ace-in-the-hole to defeat the heroes of the 21st century he attempts to free 'Mazing Man from the limbo world to which he has been consigned.

But when 'Mazing Man finds out what happens to obscure characters from the 80s and 90s in the current DC Universe he wants nothing to do with it and sends Per Degaton back to the present empty-handed.

Next -

Per Degaton and Green Arrow.

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

Per Degaton massively overshoots his destination and winds up in medieval England, where he meets Robin Hood. Only, it turns out, it's not really Robin Hood, but Green Arrow trapped in the past! Only, it turns out, it's not the current Green Arrow, but the Green Arrow of Earth-2, member of the Seven Soldiers of Victory before he was rescued by the JLA and JSA! With his time machine broken, he has no choice but to ally himself with Green Arrow of Earth-2, at least until they can figure out how to get back home.

Next-

Green Arrow (of Earth-2) and Comet the Super-Horse

Posted by Quislet, Esq. on :

Comet is on patrol when he sees a weird energy field. As he flies closer to investigate the field expands and engulfs him. He wakes up to find he has transformed back into his human form and is without his superpowers (and unknowingly been transported to Earth-2). Comet then starts off looking for help and comes across a circus.

In the circus, we find the Green Arrow of Earth-2. He has been rescued from the past by the JLA & the JSA, but has discovered in the time he was away, his fortune was gone. So he took a job at the Faley Circus, performing trick shots.

However, all is not as it seems at the circus, Boffo the clown is secretly using the circus as cover and with his gang of circus freaks have been robbing towns that the circus visits.

Can Green Arrow and a de-powerd Comet stop the nefarious Boffo? Will Comet regain his horse form and powers when he returns to Earth-1?
