The survivor game I've been dreaming up ever since the waning days of LEGION LOVE SURVIVOR!!! This is the survivor game to decide which Legionnaire's costume and look is the very VERY best. This game will take us all the way back from the Adventure-era designs, through the Cockrum redesigns, through the Baxter series and TMK, through Legionnaires, Zero Hour, Legion Lost, all the way up to the current Barry Kitson series! RULES: This game is a classic Survivor-based contest. In each round, you will vote for which costumes you would like to see LEAVE the game. The number of characters you vote off will change each round. Each round will end at 12 midnight board time on the specified day. There WILL be opportunities during the game from time to time to bring your favorites back, as well as grant immunity (and any other fun sub-games I can think of.)

it took me a while to figure out what you mean by designer and look - for instance, where's Grell design of Duo Damsel? I like her costume...as for Tyroc - it was designed by Grell, not Cockrum. I don't think that Quislet and Tellus should be included on this list since they "don't have costume at all..." it just my opinion.
the one with Umbra threw me off since I thought that it was Jeff Moy who designed her costume Chris Sprouse never worked on her before... then I realized that you were talking about the Legionnaire striped standardized uniform...so ah...so that's what it mean by "Sprouse" style? YMMV.

Actually, I think Grell's Duo Damsel design was the one I attributed to Giffen, for some odd reason or another. I think my brain was getting tired at that point and everyone was starting to run together. I'll make that change too.
If anyone else has any corrections to the list, please let me know!
I feel okay keeping Tellus and Quis on the list, because while they don't have costumes per se, they do have very distinctive looks.
I also added Moder's Post-ZH Ferro to the list. You're right, that look was very different from Sprouse's costume. (Don't worry, you who already voted: I doubt it'll last too long.)

You might consider adding in the Giffen redesign of Colossal Boy as well, which ditched the eagle-medallion among other things, though I believe later artists reverted to the pre-Giffen design.
Also, there the mid-v3 version of Wildfire after Quislet sculpted his body, which may be what you're calling "The Magic Wars" version, but which he'd actually lost prior to the Magic Wars (and, as I recall, he basically reverted to a version of the Giffen look).

So the Wildfire above should be considered "Giffen's slight redesign" (which doesn't seem slight to me) or the "Baxter" version? I ask because Giffen did a "slight" redesign on Cockrum's by getting rid of the bunchy collar and moving his emblem to the side. Then there was the all orange energy body (is that the "Baxter" version?)
