As part of my (very mild) mid-life crisis, I want to change something about my appearance. What am I doing?
1. I'm trying to lose twenty pounds through diet and exercise 2. I'm getting a second tattoo 3. I'm getting my tattoo removed 4. I'm getting a piercing 5. I'm getting a scar reduced 6. I'm dyeing my hair to get rid of my grey 7. I'm shaving my head 8. I'm getting my teeth whitened 9. I'm getting my teeth straightened 10. I'm getting a minor nose job 11. I'm revamping my wardrobe 12. Nothing - I talk a big game, but actually have very little follow through

Although I've gained maybe a few pounds over the past decade, I'm still a fairly small fellow, and I think a 20 pound loss would actually be unhealthy. On the piercing front, tried it... twice actually... when I was younger and it really wasn't my thing. Both times, inside of a year, I just let the holes close.
So what am I changing?

I don't think I would dye my hair, because I imagine that in a couple of weeks I would just have to do it again, and that's a routine I wouldn't want to maintain.
Scar reduction... no way! Thankfully, I don't have any disfiguring larger scars, but the smaller ones I do have, I actually sort of like... they're like a physical map to the life I've led.
Wardrobe revamp... well, unless button-down shirts and slacks during work hours, and jeans and t-shirts during off-time are suddenly and radically no longer appropriate, I don't foresee that in my future. Clothes are something I hate spending money on.
So... if not those three, then what am I changing?

Kent, that's a horrible thing to say and I'm quite offended.
I am getting something changed, and Quis guessed what it is. About a decade ago, I got my wisdom teeth out, and ever since then it seems like my teeth have been shifting to fill the gaps. I never used to care, but recently I've been noticing just how crooked they're getting. So, last week, I met with the orthodontist to get impressions made for Invisalign aligners and, if all goes well, in about 18 months I'll have a straight set of chompers.
Well done, Quis, you're up.
