I'm a fan of films from the 1930's - 1950's in a big way. I like all eras really but that is my favorite time period.
What western film is my absolute favorite from this time period:

BTW, these are all favorites of mine, so it goes without saying "good choice" each and every time.
High Noon was my favorite as a kid but this one has kind of emerged as my favorite over time.
