Not a cat. Blaze, I had to look up Metatheria, and it is neither that nor a marsupial. (Here is a vague hint - I did double-check to make sure it was not a marsupial.) It is not a cetacean. It does not live in North America.

It lives on at least one Pacific island, but as an introduced species. It is not a member of the dog family.
