Here's something that might interest both geography and biology fans. The megadiverse countries are 17 nations identified by Conservation International as harboring the majority of Earth's species.
They are: Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, India, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, South Africa, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, Australia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
