OK, bigger hint...he played a villain in "Checkpoint" and played someone Willow visited a few times in season 6.
Also, the first episode of Angel was on a few days ago and the first non-voice-over line was about Buffy being a hottie. (This is in response to a question Reboot asked some time ago. I promised I would watch it and I did.)

I'm thinking it must be the guy who played... Link? Was that his name? The magic 'drug' dealer from Season 6. Danny Strong was in every season, but only played Jonothan (accepting of course that he also played the First pretending to be Jonothan).

I've had it long enough. Bevis, his name was Rack. He was played by Jeff Kobor, who also played the vampire Zachary Kralik, who had real issues with his mother, in "Checkpoint." Your question Bevis.

Xander also presumably tries to play the guitar because he has one in his room when he's living at his parents. That being said he's also jealous of Oz and Giles because they can play properly so one has to assume that even though he owns a guitar he's not very good at it.
