To most of these questions it is not a matter of being clever, but of guessing correctly.
And unfortunately, you have again guessed incorrectly.
And I didn't notice the other guesses.
Exnihil did guess correctly. Kind of as a joke, I got her the rolling pin. But she doesn't need it to keep him in line.

I. Comic book artist, Martin Nodell - Nope; he created the Green Lantern, but had no part in creating the Nihil line.
D. Former NFL quarterback, Neil Lomax - No... and even if I was related, I'd not own up to it. Those '80's Cardinals were awful.
A. Olympic gymnast, Mary Lou Retton - No... which is good, as it makes the feelings I had as a young lad a lot less creepy.
So, the question remains, who is my relative with the claim to fame?
