If anybody's forgetting who Johan was, he was the squire in a castle sorta near the Smurfs village. He and his sidekick Peewit would go around and have adventures, sometimes interacting with the Smurfs, sometimes not. Peewit had a donkey named Biquette.
Hint: Johan's horse had the same name as a legendary magical horse, and also a renowned French knight.

This is not an Arthurian-type name we're looking for; the French knight I refer to was a real-life guy who lived rather later than what anybody might think of as an Arthurian period.
Hint: one of the reasons I remember the name is because of its alliteration with Peewit's donkey Biquette.
