First-round results are in!!! Thanks for everyone who played in this first round! I think there's a general consensus that 9-panel pages do not nice costumes make. (TMK dig!)
And BOY, the carnage. A 13-way tie at position #19 will do that to ya. Wow.
Starting off in the land of unfortunate plot developments, first to go... the most reviled Legion costume of all time... is none other than... the Terrorform Zoe version of Kinetix!
Continuing in the really REALLY unfortunate plotline trend, next to go, tied at #2 with 7 votes apiece... are Bounty and Jarth. Are you listening, creators? You can't DO that to our Dawny or Garth!
The trend continues with the next 5 to go, all tied at 6 votes. They all are inextricably linked to some of the worst plots ever! They are... B5, Emerald Vi, Furball, Sensor (Snakejectra), and Sister Andromeda. We like our Brainiac's non-grizzled, our Vi's not evil, and our Timber Wolfs and Jeckies non... anthromorphic. And don't even get us started on the nun!
Well, the next 3 to go, tied at 5 votes apiece, all hail from the lovely land of 5 years later... Celeste Rockfish, Jewel(White Witch), and Polestar(Cosmic Boy). Incidentally, we obviously didn't care much for Legion on the Run either.
The 7 next to go were all tied, each recieving 4 votes. They were Cosmic Boy(grell), Cosmic Boy(TMK), Sensor the Snake, Laurel Gand(Legion on the Run), Tyroc, Vi(Legion on the Run), and Wildfire(Baxter-Quislet remold). Don't have much to say here except that I'm a bit surprised that so many don't like Grell's Cosmic Boy metal bondage/S&M outfit. Well, maybe that's a good thing.
And finally... the carnage. in the 13 tied at #19 there are the first Cockrum costume to go down, the first Kitson costume to go down... there's a LOT of torn spandex in this first round, I tells ya! Just a few more costumes for you Kid Prime Cockrum did a re-design of Chemical King's Adventure outfit flared collar instead of fold down collar and a darker shade of green Cockrum was also the first to draw Duo Damsel(Grell) based on a fan design and he designed two costumes for Colossal Boy the one not listed only made It Into one Issue Superboy#195 before he put him In the one that got voted out. Jim Sherman did a re-design of Cockrum's Star Boy costume V-Neck with bare chest showing he also designed a costume for Element Lad that was In the oversized collectors edition the one where Garth and Imra got hitched. The first time I saw Cosmic Boy(Giffen Pink),Shadow Lass(Baxter Series)and Timber Wolf(Giffen slit to waist) was In a DC Digest and the costumes were designed by George Perez he also designed costumes for Blok,Phantom Girl,Princess Projectra, and Wildfire that never made It Into the series. Last but not least Wildfire got a re-design of Olivier Coipel's look in the last series by Steve Lightle that was pretty cool and more closer to Cockrum's design I think It was Red and Black Instead of Red and Orange though. On a side note I really liked Alan Davis re-design's of the Adventure Comics costumes In the Elseworlds 2 Issue Superboy's Legion but they don't count.

Anyone have a pic of the Cockrum redesign on Chemical King and the other Colossal Boy Cockrum outfit? I'd like to see how they differ before putting 'em in (I considered putting in P.G.'s Lightle costume (Baxter) as separate frpm the more classic Cockurm design, but then I figured it was really way too derivative (I felt the same for when Giffen remover the wings from Wildfire's star...))
I do remember the chesty Sherman Star Boy design, and I'll put that one in. Same for the Lightle post ZH Wildfire with the red and black. Thanks for pointing that one out! I'm also going to add Dream Girl's Zero Hour Legionnaires costume (the one cut below the belly button.)
Thanks for all the costumes I've forgotten, y'all! We can continue to add new costumes until Thursday, but then I think we need to finalize for the rest of the game.

Superboymddjr and Kid Prime - I'm not crafty enough to play these Survivor games tactically so my votes for the Kitson costumes are just because I dislike them all so much I'm afraid. Ironically, one of the very few Kitson costumes I do like was the first one to get voted off this round!
So I'm tempted to vote for Star Boy's quite cool Kitson costume to come back but I think Grell's Cosmic Boy bustier costume is one of the most original super-hero costumes in history so I gotta vote for that one to return.

Superboymddjr while I think Barry Kitson Is a great artist I just dont like most of his design's on the Legion costumes and I agree with Blacula that Star Boy Is one of his better design's along with Cosmic Boy.
