Not sure what "hero power types" means, but I'll guess.
Physical power - super strength, Karate Kid, etc.
Energy power - Transmuting, magnetism, Electrical, etc.
Mental - Telepathy, illusion casting, etc.
I'm going to wait to see if this is right.
However, Vee's answer is not correct. The three he listed had their powers change. What I was going for was Saturn Girl, who originally was just a thought caster and now is a telepath, Chameleon Boy who had super-disguise powers and is now a shape shifter, & Colossal Boy who could grow to giant size and now can shrink to 6 feet.

Yup, that's right Quis. Other power types would be speedsters, elementals (fire, ice, water, earth based powers) mage/mystics, etc.
Regarding my answer, I didn't take your question the way you intended but I would argue that they are still valid answers since their power description had to change since their powers changed!
