* IB - I assume you meant their "first (Reboot) appearance" since it's already been established that technically, they first appeared Preboot.

Is he more often associated with characters/series set in the 20th/21st century than with Legion?

IT IS the infamous Ronald Morning! He who beget the brat that ruined the Legion-verse for some time!
Now during my background check for this character I came across some info that floored me -
I've always assumed he first appeared in the issue he died in, but according to Wikipedia he actually first appeared in a 1989 issue of The Atom (I assume it must mean Power of the Atom since that was the only Atom series published in 1989), which makes sense when you realise that that series was also written by Tom Peyer!
Since that series was pre-Zero Hour, that means Lori's Dad was technically a Preboot character - making him one of the few Legion characters that existed unchanged in both 'boots!
Interesting bit of trivia, huh?!
I actually have that Power of the Atom series waiting to be re-read so when I do I will keep my eyes peeled for the man whose daughter made me drop my favourite book for a while!
