Hmmm... is that just a guess, or do you know that to be true?
That wasn't what I was going for (and, off the top of my head, I can only think of Paul McGann from "Withnail and I" who played that the Doctor) but let me know if I missed that obvious connection.

Another hint: upon futher investigation, the connection applies to the two short stories, and only the movie "Withnail and I", not the screenplay.

I had to make the clarification about "Withnail" because although the film leaves "I" unnamed, apparently he's called "Marwood" in the screenplay.
