Which was NOT a part of my San Diego Comic-Con Experience (Yes, I'm still smugly goign on about the whole thing):
1) Got Paul Levitz to sign my copy of LSH #296 2) Played a game of Heroclix (and won) 3) Shook Grant Morrison's hand 4) Asked Dan Didio about an age appropriate Wonder Woman book for my daughter. 5) Had a really good talk with Peter Milligan about Human Target 6) Bumped into Rich Johnson from Bleeding Cool and hit it off. 7) Failed to meet my sister's cousins from L.A. after two days of trying to co-ordinate something. 8) Got hassled by a group of locals. 9) Woke up at 4:30 to go stand in line at 5:00 AM for a panel that didn't start until 10:00 10) Met the crew from Legionworld!

Ack, that should have read my WIFE's cousins. Other than that slip up, yes that did (or didn't I guess) happen. Everytime I called their cell, they couldn't hear it on the floor, and every time they were free I was in a panel or passed out back in my room. We agreed if we ever do it again to plan a bit better.

I did get hassled by some punk kids on my way out to meet a friend after dark Sunday night. They noticed my comic-themed shirt and converged around me making strange whooping noises. It was 3 vs. 1 so I just smiled and tried to keep walking as best I could. They kept pace with me for about half a block and then lost interest. Charming.
I did run into Rich Johnson as well. He was sitting next to me at the Batman panel blogging away. I didn't realise it was him (people had laptops out everywhere), and it wasn't until we were chatting that I realised who he was (he had also cut his hair since I last saw a recent picture). I think I did the whole 'Holy #$%# you're Rich Johnson, I read your stuff every week" thing and he was suitably chuffed.
Two more down.
