According to the 1979 Marvel calendar on my wall (1979 corresponds exactly to this year, so I am recycling it) today is Jim Shooter's Birthday! Many happy returns of the day to him.

Shooter, born in 1951, is 56.

I've always liked knowing that his birthday falls just two days after mine. Perhaps that played a role in inspiring my own choice to become a writer.
