Ah, gorgeous! Uncanny X-Men has really had a turn-around since Chris Claremont reclaimed the title. Coipel's sequentials just get better and better.

I love it, I love it! If Coipel had to leave Legion at least he ended up in X-Men! Nightcrawler, here's a question for you: If you got the chance to get Coipel to sketch something for you at Diego Con, would it be Nightcrawler or a Legionnaire?

I don't think I've ever seen Kurt portrayed as being able to climb walls while carrying a significant amount of weight. What's the Official Marvel Handbook put Ororo's weight at, anyway?
Maybe he didn't teleport because he didn't have any reference for a safe 'port, Drake. They haven't retconned his need to "know" where he's BAMFing to, have they?
Maybe one of his new "demon senses"??

Oliver draws a cute Nighty! Can't wait to hold it in my grubby hands!
Hmmmm, I always thought of Kurt as being meticulously clean!!
I saw this one over a the Pulse too and those are some great teaser pages!! Yes, I totally agree, Oliver's style has improved. Seems his style has evolved very well. I remember his first work, DC Comics, it was a JLA mini with this crash landed race dealing with their new found home and how Earthlings were dealing with them. I rather liked the art in most cases. There were some areas that were not so good but it was impressive enough for me to keep it. Too bad DC didn't reprint this entire run in TPB, I'd buy it!!

Newarama now has the first several pages up with dialogue and color. It's pretty nice and reading it kind of makes me want to read the book. I never thought I'd say that about the X-Men these days.

Coipel's work is really shining these days, IMO! I haven't read too many pages because I still want to have something to look forward to in the actual issue.
With Uncanny already one of my favorite titles since Claremont's return, I'll definitely be picking this up.

What did Coipel do to Rachel tho? The yellow sunglasses were bad enough without making them pince-nez. And how much trouble would it have been to check her current power signature?

i do still miss him on "our" book though, i liked his "AVENGERS" work, and these new "X-MEN" pages look great, but i do think his style suits a FUTURE setting more ......
