True story: I've, more than once, embarassed myself by saying "el chupacabras?" just out of the blue to hispanics. I always get that "you're an idiot" look in return!

Can't help myself--"el chupacabras" just rolls off the tongue and is fun to say!

In Mexico, there's an expletive that goes, "CHANFLE!"

So if you see a Chupacabra, you have to exclaim, "CHANFLE! El Chupacabra!"

If the rumors of the critters that go into Chinese food are true, I wouldn't be surprised if someone ordered Chicken Chow Mein but ended up with Chupacabra Chow Mein.
