Watching sunsets. Some of my friends think they all look alike, but I just can't get over how the sun paints everything in reds and oranges.

I hear you, Future King! mmmm. last beach I went to was Venice Beach though, and when I stepped in the water...
I had to remind myself there were kids around, so I wouldn't curse.
Sunrises are great too, especially ones on mountaintops, high up in the clouds...

Hiking and being outdoors. The smells, the peace, the quiet. I don't get to do it much but it instantly relaxes me and reinvigorates me.

I also like cooking some simple pasta or soup for a small group of friends (we help each other with the chopping and prep), then just sitting and chatting for a few hours while enjoying the meal.

Nachos. I know they're awfully fattening, but the blend of flavors is just wonderful.
I always use low-fat cheese, and sub yogurt for sour cream to bring the calories down. I top it off with homemade salsa, pickle relish and taco beef.

Not many. We'll have breakfast over at my grandpa's place on top of the mountain. A brisk jog up the winding road that leads there will do us a world of good, and whet our appetites!

Getting my hair cut. I close my eyes and hold really still and my breathing gets shallow and it's like my whole body just goes into a peaceful 'timeout.' No phones, no computers, no work, no people demanding anything, no expectation that I should be doing anything. I could just stay there, hearing the bad muzak and the snicking of the scissors, for hours.

One of my recent "pleasures" is Sriracha Hot Sauce, a Thai style sauce that's sweet and spicy! I put it on eggs, curry, rice, spring rolls, grilled chicken... almost anything.
