I got the call back to my last job today. Going to be doing Shipping/Receiving there instead of what I was doing. Good/bad news really. School is out of the question now for both my wife and I, which means that instead of getting my new degree and starting an actual career in two years...I'm back to being in a dead end job. I could also have been making about twice as much as I will be if I got that degree. But at least we'll be able to pay our bills.

There's a lot more to it than just this, but I'm going to leave that aspect of it alone. Needless to say, I'll be here less for the time being...but I'll still be in just about everyday, just not as much.

Congratulations on getting called back, Dev. I know that tough choices have to be made, and we have to do what's best for us and our families. You may still be able to go back to school someday.

Dev, though it seems like a bittersweet opportunity, I have faith this will end up being a stable income for a time and you'll eventually be able to get back to school!

Please stay prominent on LW! It's been a blast having you posting so much and its helped kickstart the entire message board--we don't want to lose you now! So while I'll forgive a less than 1,000 post count in May, we still want you posting everyday! We miss you when you're not posting!

And hey, after a long day, reviewing Rob Liefield's Youngblood and posting 10,000 freaky lies about Loser Lad could be the greatest stress reliever of all.
