I got the call back to my last job today. Going to be doing Shipping/Receiving there instead of what I was doing. Good/bad news really. School is out of the question now for both my wife and I, which means that instead of getting my new degree and starting an actual career in two years...I'm back to being in a dead end job. I could also have been making about twice as much as I will be if I got that degree. But at least we'll be able to pay our bills.
There's a lot more to it than just this, but I'm going to leave that aspect of it alone. Needless to say, I'll be here less for the time being...but I'll still be in just about everyday, just not as much.

Congratulations on getting called back, Dev. I know that tough choices have to be made, and we have to do what's best for us and our families. You may still be able to go back to school someday.

Congrats on the work! We'll miss you, but at least we'll know it's for a good reason. And we'll be here when you do find a spare moment to say 'hi.'
School may still find a way to happen. Don't give up on that.
good fortune, my friend! It'd been a blast having you around so much.
