According to the LMBPers historian (Cobie), our 10 year anniv is coming up. March 12, 2000 is the date he has as the beginning of this great group of posters.
What should be done to celebrate?

I at least think we should have an all-day postathon on the 10 year anniversary, if meeting up in person isn't possible for a lot of people. That may include me, but I'll make sure I can post all day.
And I agree, we should make a huge effort to get older members to return, using the 10 year anniversary as a way to guilt them into it . We can all at least do that with Lou. I talked to him a few months back and he's really busy but I'm sure we could get him back for that--and then keep him here (insert evil laugh)
We should just do something really exciting on the MMB that day. Like all new threads on Page 1 all day, celebrating 10 years of membership. Dunno if either of those posters ever registered here. Haven't seen Goon Boy since loooong before the DC Boards stopped being the LMB's home, so I doubt it.
The Leviathan who was an LMBer I don't recall ever seeing during the Legion World era. Last I knew, that poster had taken to calling himself "Lev Lad" on the Yahoogroup and elsewhere.

Dev = Anchor Boy, Gary. Not exactly an alt but more of a superhero name for Dev. He also went by Shift Kid at some point, IIRC.
Gary, I know I've seen Seahorse and Therod post here years ago (under those names). The rest I can't attest to, though.

I can do this from memory after going over it all these years:
bellbookcandle/Seahorse - has not ever registered here, unfortunately. He's one of the last great core members of the original group to not come over. I believe STU stays in touch with him sometimes and wish he could get him over here.
JO (ultrajo? here) - I always thought it was ultrajo and even recall seeing that confirmed but am not 100% sure.
LumberFox - not seen since the Spring of 2000. Last I heard he was living in South Africa. Name comes from discussion we had with Andy Lanning prior to Legion of the Damned...good story from the old days.
Therod - as other said, 'Roo is a registered member. I got him to join in Fall 2003 after I joined and he had a brief posting spell but then dissapeared again. Still, it shows that if we bother him, he'll rejoin us:D
WildfireFan - also known as ZeroMan, registered here and posts occassionally in the Legion forum
kbern - Not seen since Summer of 2000, though I believe he did show up once or twice as a surprise in the early years.
Sk8maven - well known poster from old DCMBs but don't think ever joined us here.
JWB - not seen since 2001; was a kid (23-ish) then, from Texas.
Grae - registered here as Lurker Lad, I think.
HardshellTheTurtleBoy - I thought Hardshell was registered here but it would only be under that name. I could be wrong. One of the last major holdouts?
Midnight Son - Once a very high profile LMBer, but we haven't seen Midnight Son in a couple of years either (2003-ish). Beagz was friendly with him though and could maybe rope him back in? He's a huge Amethyst fan.
Sir Justin of Camelot - only ever a one-time poster (Honorary LMBer), not sure whatever happened to him. I think he was more a regular on the old "Other" DCMB forum.
dead boy - same as Sir Justin
TheMightyFanBoyMan - the legendary Sasha who was a high profile LMBer during our first year. He was 15 at the time (9 years ago). We never did hear from him again, though I'm sure lots of old time LMBers think of him now and again.
Towenaar - only posted ever so briefly in 2000
BRAINBOX - also only posted very briefly in 2000. I believe in the Summer.
Alternative Boy7 - alt ID of Mightyfanboy Lad.
Jonah'sWhale - not sure; thought was an alt. Not on LW.
Porno Lad - Alt
the4thpip - not sure
dng.dwb - more prominent on other DC boards in 2000-2001, but not on LW under that name or I'd have recognized it.

Sadly, Lou once gave me several other old LMB files that I saved to my old laptop--which died. They were hysterical and awesome, and I wish I hadn't lost them. I hope he still has them. Bevis might have them too.

What do you mean by died? If you still have it, you can access the hard drive using another computer (if it was the motherboard). If it was a virus, then it might be lost (and let's hope others saved the files).

The day we found out Paul had passed was the day I met Pov for the first time--the first time I ever met anyone from LW before. The combination of meeting a longtime friend from the LMB and knowing another longtime friend from the LMB had just passed away really put into focus what the group meant to me.
