Fun! I'm examining the last page on the MMB to see who posted last to the threads on them to form an all-new all-exclusive club...
From page 156 (the last page):
Fat Cramer
Matlock
The Big Bad
Freekdkid
Nightcrawler
Nardo
Eryk Davis Ester
Lightning Lad (x2)
He Who Wanders
CHARTER MEMBERS!
LL/Scott can be leader since he killed 2 threads and He Who Wanders gets to be the inspiration for the team since his post has kept a thread dead the longest!

I just re-read that thread, Lash. Did you notice your statement that Rob's board had affected you so badly that you had a low post count on LW so far? My, how things change.
And I suppose I've learned that if I want to kill a thread, it's best to get all philosophical ("a speed bump of life." Sheesh!).

I'll gladly give up my membership in this esteemed club to preserve a slice of LW history.

I myself am amazed the last page isn't full of old posts by me, Teeds and EDE... Boy, how we used to rattle on about nothing... *meloncholy sigh*
And one wonders, is this the correct spelling of 'meloncholy'?

Thanks.
The correct spelling is "melancholy."

I was just thinking how different my life was in July 2003, when I posted that threadkiller. I was still typing obits for a living, my father had passed away less than a year ealier, and I had bought the car I still drive two months before.
I was a year and a half away from meeting the woman I would later become involved with. However, I had just joined a local comics creators network and would have my first story published in September.
My online LW relationships have lasted longer than some of my "real world" relationships of that time.
So, yes, "oddly cool."
