My dearest friends! It is so good to see you all once more!

Posted by MLLASH on :

Tell me a story about how I betrayed you in a past life, Doc. I love it when you do that!

Posted by Outdoor Miner on :

I think he's fallen asleep.

He's really got to stop hitting the tea so hard.

Posted by MLLASH on :

All in all, a pretty piss-poor "return".

One post then he vanishes? BAH!

But maybe I'll cut him some slack... he probably got betrayed/killed by someone again.

Posted by Doctor Mayavale on :

Fear not, my dear friend MLLASH! While I have no doubt there are those among you who would like to see my dead corpse tied to wild horses and drug through the streets of Legion World, I am alive and well!

Posted by MLLASH on :

Well, I think you're pretty dang groovy!

But I have to admit, I do get a kick out of hearing about the myriad of ways you've been humorously horribly murdered. That betrayal stuff is hilarious too.

You space-rawk!

Oh, be reasonable.

I don't think those people would insist you be dead first.

So, how's tricks?

Posted by Cobalt Kid on :

I promise I won't betray in this lifetime, Doc! All is right on Legion World with your return.

Posted by Doctor Mayavale on :

As is his wont, Mayavale has returned once more.

Posted by Cobalt Kid on :

Doc, just to let you know, you're the new leader of the RMB! Since the counter-culture aspect of it has been in slight decline for some time, feel free to change its name to 'Disciples of Mayavale' or something equally as groovy!

Posted by shenu on :

AHHHH.... Mayavale, your return meshs well with my...plans. You have lived many lives, as have I, in a fashion. We have much in common, methinks.

Posted by cleome on :

Oh, yuck. There's a tentacle in my onion soup !

[plotz]

Doc,

Where have you been?

Posted by Fat Cramer on :

And will you be staying long this time?

Posted by Arm Fall Off Boy on :

Still rockin' the caucasion fro, I see!

What's up, doc?

Mayavale proudly accepts leadership of the Acolytes of Mayavale.

Mayavale believes that "up" is an arbitrary direction defined by opposition to the pull of ikthamathis, or, as you might call it, gravity, around a massive body such as a planet.

But physics was never Mayavale's strong suit.

That suit you're wearing was never your strong suit ...

STU Do where you know is?

Posted by Doctor Mayavale on :

In some lifetimes, Mayavale manages to kill traitors before the traitors kills Mayavale. This is the way of Gunthragon.

Posted by Cobalt Kid on :

Even though the Acolytes of Mayavale do not have elections, and even though no one else is running, I'd like to attach myself as Mayavale's Deputy Leader of the Acolytes of Mayavale in the coming non-election. Thus the RMB/Acolytes of Mayavale can mirror changes within the LMB structure so whatever unity or horrible betrayal occurs, it will follow veil of Maya.

(non-members may not understand the veil of Maya, but it is not up to one such as I to reveal such mysteries)

I do not understand the veil of Maya ...

Posted by My Wee Fem on :

In some cultures the veil of Maya is the first veil removed during the dance of the seven veils...

Not that I've ever... But I DO know how...

Mayavale has returned once more, to wish all his dear, dear friends on Legion World a blessed Blakzadablebah, or, as you might call it in your modern Earth languages, [insert appropriate seasonal festivity here]!

Posted by He Who Wanders on :

Happy Blakz to you, Doc.

Posted by Kent Shakespeare on :

Thanks, doc!

ya know, it's a shame Blakzadablebah has become so commercialized... it's often not really about Blakzadablebah; it's become... Balkzploitation.

Doctor Mayavale,

Have a glass of eggnog! Don't look at me like that. You say that in our past lives I betrayed you with a glass of eggnong? Oh um sorry about that. Have a piece of fruit cake and a glass of punch uinstead.

You all like my version of Mayavale's holiday better. Just admit it already.

Posted by Exnihil on :

I know I'll definitely be getting Blatzed this holiday season.

Posted by Cobalt Kid on :

A fitting time for the annual Acolytes of Mayavale meeting.

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

Let's keep the Blazt in Blatzabbablebah or whatever!

Blatz: The reason for the seizure.

Little known fact: Liberace was an alt of mine.

Posted by He Who Wanders on :

I was John Lennon in a past life. I betrayed Dr. Mayavale by kicking him out of the Beatles.

Posted by Eryk Davis Ester on :

^^The above post confirms my longheld suspicion that Dr. Mayavale is, in reality, STU!

Posted by He Who Wanders on :

Actually, he's PETE!

Posted by Fat Cramer on :

Why couldn't he be both?

Only one was kicked out of the Beatles.

Posted by Fat Cramer on :

That's not how Mayavale tells it....

Posted by Kent Shakespeare on :

none of us were eyewitnesses, so anything's possible.

Posted by He Who Wanders on :

Mayavale could be Rory Storm, betrayed by Ringo when the latter joined the Beatles.

Aha! It was Quislet, Esq. who let "Grandma" Mayavale drink too much eggnog just before those reindeer ran "her" over!

Posted by Fat Cramer on :

If it was Mayavale who wrote that darn song, I'd like to betray him right now.

Posted by cleome45 on :

At least it doesn't include any lisping, or hippos.

[shrug]

Posted by Doctor Mayavale on :

Ha Ha Ha! Mayavale did have a brief career as a songwriter, but most of his tunes were stolen by a fellow by the name of Irving Berlin! If only I could track down his identity in this current era, I'd repay him for bludgeoning me with a fire poker.

Posted by cleome45 on :

A real omnipotent octo-man would wreak vengeance on Kelly Clarkson, out of concern for all humanity, rather than merely pursuing his own shallow self-interest.

(And no, I'm not the reborn Irving Berlin. Anyone who's ever seen me struggle to play "Old MacDonald" on the piano can confirm this.)

Posted by Kent Shakespeare on :

Doc, I think the popularity of Justin Bieber is revenge enough! Anyone with x-ray vision can see Irving Berlin rolling in his grave every time Bieber gets airplay.
