1. Never say never again.

2. Friendships are important, even internet ones.

4. Leaving this board over leader elections was stupid.

5. When you put all of your eggs in one basket and the basket drops, expect shattered eggs. (I didn't get into grad school. That hurt. A LOT.)

6. Life goes on.

7. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

8. Learn from your mistakes. (I'm STILL going to follow my dream, damn it!)

9. I missed you guys and gals.

10. (Deep breath.) The Pocket Universe was going to be set up for interactive Choose-Your-Own-Adventure stories involving the LSH and the LMB.

You've been missed more than you could ever know! This place is *never* the same without you, and I'm glad to see you back here!

Although we chatted a few times, it wasn't nearly as much as I wished! I wish I was online more instead of just leaving an away message up all day...

KP, I'm in awe at your great attitude! Especially with the current events with grad school. You, good sir, are going to persevere no matter what and get all your dreams if you try.

I'm glad to see you back! Trust me, there are dozens of other posters who're going to flip at your return.

Welcome home, KP! You're very important to us. I was already in a good mood and you've just put the icing on the cake!

Sorry about the grad school, that must have been a big disappointment - but maybe another school, another time? Who knows what opportunities may open up for you in the months ahead.

Welcome -- we've missed you. You're back at a moment of great anticipation for what's coming with the Legion title, whatever each of us thinks of its prospects, and we'd have missed what you would have to say about it.

The Pocket Universe sounds intriguing -- again -- and my last private guess was fairly close to what you describe. It's still worthwhile, and perhaps it can come off hiatus one day. Until it does, read some of the ferment that's happened with LMB stories over in Bits, in the time since you left.

I didn't get into grad school either -- with what I realized and found out about what I had to look forward to, being a maverick, I gave up on the idea before finishing my apps. I can empathize about a dream lost, though, or at least deferred. You'll find something to carry it out or succeed it. Dreams are like that ...

And yeah, dreams are like that. I should know. But I also know that if you keep at it, dreams have a way of seeing themselves through to the end. And I know you're one of those people who will never give up.
