Unrelated, I remember you telling me about combining tea with a specific flavor or brande Arachne (or was it hot chocolate?) a winter or so ago. I have had a really bad chill the past few days (something I'm not used to), and am looking for fine tasting [non-coffee] hot drinks...

I think you mean Black Forest Hot Chocolate. Heated chocolate milk with a shot of cherry brandy and topped with whipped cream.
Celestial Seasonings makes some nice Christmas teas if you can get a hold of them (it's a Colorado company, I think, so it should be availble in the US), both black tea and herbals. IIRC, one of them is like liquid cinnamon.
One of my other favourite hot drinks is Chai. It's black tea with spices like cinnamon and cloves, and nutmeg; it's just wonderful. Make it strong and add plenty of milk. Better yet, if you're at a coffee shop, see if have Chai Latte. It's really incredible. Sometimes it might be listed as Masala Chai, which is the proper East Indian term for it.

I like a good matte latte myself. Brazilian tea-like stuff, but put through an espresso machine, capped off with steamed milk... grainer than tea, but good, and refreshing!

I'll have a hearty bowl of bacon stew, please. And, on the side, a thick slab of buttered toast topped with crumbled, crisp bacon.
