A few years ago I had a dream that I was riding in the back of a limo with a friend and we kissed. I've always sort of been attracted to this guy, but it's always been clear that nothing would ever happen between us. Still, I was very unsettled by it and felt awkward around him for some time after.

I had surgary for a ventral hernia last tuesday. Today, I'm sitting indoors while a lady friend shovels the driveway. I'm all for equal rights but this just feels wrong.

Well making her shovel your driveway in the nude is wrong.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

Drummers have a heightened sense of timing, measured in milliseconds: perfect timing, like perfect pitch. Some of them find it annoying, because the rest of us are always off beat. From a study by Dr. Eagleman of Baylor U.

Go to www.billboard.com, click on "Hot 100," and then click on "View Chart Archives," and you can find the Top Ten songs of the week you were born.
(But only if you were born during the week of August 9, 1958, or later, because that's when the Hot 100 began.)

While doing research for that blog post, I chanced upon Steve Englehart's site, which contains cover reproductions of every comic book he wrote as well his recollections and notes.

I've visited Englehart's site on many an occassion. Wonderful place.
I also had the pleasure and privilege of hosting a web chat with him back in 2005. Among other things, he revealed that if he had stayed on Avengers, the next arc would have focused on Wonder Man, delving deeply into his psychology.
