Happy anniversary, fk and Mrs. King. [Smile]

Thank you very much! It is appreciated. We had a GREAT day together!!
Of course you realize that we're going to have to call you "Scarecrow" now. [Wink]

Congratulations, FK and many, many more happy years!

I can live with him thinking Iron Man is the best movie ever at three. [Razz]

Hey, today I was "friended" by none other than the great Mr. Paul Levitz on Facebook!

I know lots of you on here are also friends of his on there (as I saw y'all! lol), and this is all old news to you, but since I'm new to Facebook it is quite a special honour for me. And that is an understatement!

What a great weekend this has turned out to be!!! [Smile]

I'm fixing another lemon cake later today. Yeah, I'm in a rut, but it's a good rut. Lemon cake rules!

Spent about 19 dollars to fix the minivan. Two relays were blown...easy fix, that took too long because of money issues.

People who go on and on about "community" often turn out to mean "clique." This can leave a person with a crate's worth of egg on her face when she realizes that all along she mistook the latter for the former.

mr_cleome submits that this kind of self-important b.s. is very much a Portland thing. My theory is that it's everywhere.

I've been listening to audiobooks in the car a lot lately. Currently, I'm listening to The Picture of Dorian Gray.

[Confused]

But I do like the pink hat. I picked up a hat yesterday, for free. A nice one, but alas-- it didn't have the je ne sais quoi of that one. :/

Lately the nail on my left thumb gets dirt under the nail. Just the left thumb nail. None of the other nails on my left hand get dirt under the nails. The nails on my right hand don't get dirt under them. I can't think if anything I am doing to get dirt under my thumbnail.
