Hey guys ... it sounds like you're having an amazing time ... I would have loved to have joined you (and did look into making the trip at one point), but after buying a house this spring, it just wasn't in the cards ... I was really looking forward to meeting some folks, especially Cobie, whose continued consistent presence on these boards (along with Lash and Lard) always impresses me ... Cobie, I hope all is well at home ... to the rest of you in SD, I hope the reunion continues to be a blast ...
when's the one on the east coast?

We are nearly to Disneyland. Hope you all are enjoying the last day. I can't express how great it was to see everyone and spend some time together. This world we've built together means so much to me and everyone here is a part of the greatest family. I can't wait until the next gathering. And anyone passing through the Land of Zion better at least give us a call!

Maybe at Charlotte next year for a "mini-Ultimate Meet-up"? I've never been to a con in my life, but I could easily finagle getting to that one. If any of my buds here are hame, then I'll make it happen! Somethin' to think about anyway--I know you guys are probably burned out for at least a couple months.
(of course my fear would be that I could never come CLOSE to livin' up to my legend )

Well, CJ and I went to get pics with Kirkman on Thursday because I hadn't met him before. CJ had seen him in Colorado and the day before with Scott but the Zombie King, who had recognized our Lightning Lad, still didn't know CJ. It might have something to do with him being an alt-ID...
As for Geoff Johns, we were all at the Legion 50 year panel and I happened to sit in front of where Geoff was. (Yes, it was a happy accident. ) He looked my way and I waved to him, since... I dunno. It seemed like the right thing to do. He waved back and said, "Hey Beth." I had been to DC Nation panel, his panel and the booth to get a picture with him but still. It was cool for me!
