What's your 'type'? I've got the overachieving Key Club/Red Cross community service junkie, the boy scout computer science nerd, the vegan SAT scorin' weirdo, the badmington player...

I don't suppose there'd be a imperious-type A personality woman to help me run my life, would there?

My 'type' is probably community service junky, out of the group you mentioned. I like to volunteer my time and stuff. None of that save the Earth garbage, though. It's humans or bust, baby!

man did i have a ripe crop of nerdy pre-freshmen for all y'all on saturday (you shoulda been there brian!). half of them were involved in botball/robot battling/mechanical programming and the other half apparently volunteered away half their high school careers in community service! the interviews were held in a frat house (i dunno why?!?) and i had to conduct my probing interviews over blaring hits by such mid-90s college classics as oasis, dave matthews band, and everclear. the prevailing thought i took away from the interviews was that if i ever have children, i want them to be well rounded and interesting in person, not just on paper.

well...my friend said he couldn't hear cat power because they were in the tent next to the dance tent. (who was resposible for that?)
i assume that's the way it went for antony and the johnsons. and that i wouldn't have been able to see madonna in the dance tent.
so the way i reason i just missed the yeah yeah yeahs and depeche mode. (my friends left before depeche mode to beat the crowd out...cause it can take forever.)
inland invasion (earlier this year) was super cool. i saw beck weezer oasis the bravery kasabian garbage (for the third time) cake bloc party
...and some others i am forgetting. (311 or 411? and some new band that sounds like AC DC)
there was a fire at one point people were moshing around. tee hee. and i got a sunburn and several 5 $ waters.

i am trying to plan a trip this summer to spend the last of my student loans. (or some... i'm not completely spend thrift)
i am thinking of going through central and south america. for three months or until i run outta cash. i think i will get farther through there than asia or europe.
anyone got any suggestions? been there before? places to skip?
i am thinking mexico city (maybe tulum and puerto vallarta) belize (my friends honeymooned there and it looks gorgeous.) costa rica (always wanted to go) peru (the incan trail..maybe lima) brazil (rio and hopefully teh amazon ...always wanted to go) argentina (buneos aires..heard good things) and maybe chile.
i figure travel when you can!!
