I'm so sorry for your loss. 35 years is a long and wonderful length of time to be with someone you love. And 5 boys. I'm sure she was happy and blessed with her men.

Chuck, I'm so sorry to hear this--you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Throughout the time I've known you, I've always loved the way you spoke about Alice and how loving and playful your marriage has been. You've had a great life with her and you've created an amazing family. I'm so sorry buddy.

I won't pretend to know what you must be going through. I don't. But here is my recommendation: revel on the memories of the years that you were able to spend with Alice, and look for her in the faces of your children and grandchildren. She's there.

I was stunned to see this thread when logging in after a few days absence. I'm so sorry to read this news. The Quank Family has been such an important part of Legion World, we all share in your lose and grieve with you. Please know that all my love, prayers and very strong bear hugs are winging your way. Oh Chuck, I don't check in here very often anymore, but did for some reason today. I am so sorry to hear about Alice's passing. My heart is breaking for you.
