... cut myself shaving in the morning, was told I'm being laid off at the end of the month in the afternoon, and accidentally hydroplaned my car into a telephone pole in the evening.
What a day... man, that shaving cut smarted.

...felt bad for exnihil. But at least no injuries from the nasty telephone pole.
...and today I got up at 4 a.m. to look for the Perseids, but not only was the moon a bit too bright, some haze moved in. I did see one bright one, but that was it.

Today I... start officially stressing over the start of school. 90 degree heat in the rooms with 30 at-risk kids whose biggest challenge in life will be to find a button on me that has never yet been pushed.

...read a bunch of Thor's from 1971-1972 during my lunch hour at the Starbucks down the street to relieve some of the excelsheet-crazy stress of work lately. It worked! Thanks John Buscema and the Warriors 3!
PS - hang in there Ex! Use LW as a way to blow some steam off when you need to. Hopefully things turn around quickly.
