Not that I know of. However, lots of Legion Worlders claim to drink like fish.

You know... I was trying to think of something else to compare the Andy Griffith Show to, and it's really hard to come up with anything that's quite like it. It really is this amazingly idealistic portrayal of small town American life around the middle of the last century.

My parents actually grew up (and currently live) about thirty miles from Mt. Airy, N.C., the town on which Mayberry is based. In fact, I believe that's where the computer I'm typing on at the moment was purchased.

All this talk of little town America made me sit down and watch one of my all time favourite films again last night - the truly fantastic Pleasantville (God I LOVE that film).

And who turns up as the TV repair man?

Your very own Don Knotts!!

"It's a small world after all"

I'm surprised Quis didn't list this under films Don has appeared in, seeing as how a line from the film is his signature.

All though Pleasantville does feature Mr. Knotts (and is a great film in its own rights), it cannot compare to the tour de force that is the Incredible Mr. Limpet
